Nick and i were on a mission to find the Silver kings today, Nick has already got his Permit so all he needed was a poon. We got into 3 big fish this morning loosing the first one. Tarpon Timmy landed his Birthday fish, a good 125lb poon .. Shortly after the 45min battle we were into another large Tarpon, Nick is hooked up, the battle is on this fish was a good 150lb fish, Now all we have to do is keep the poon away from the 250 lb Bull Shark that is trying to make a meal out of our Tarpon. After chasing the poon around for 40 minutes he finally gave up and was successfully tagged and released. What a epic morning..Cheers

Neil with his first Tarpon!.. And he got the poon on the Fly!
There is nothing more exciting than Tarpon fishing. Neil and i ran out to a little hot spot i found and we had Tarpon rolling all around us! Nothing better..Neil made 8 to Ten cast and yells out "i got him! Tim I got em" after a 30 minute battle we boated the Silver King!!!Cheers.

Nick with his first Tarpon! We fished all day out of Key West, with no love from the Permit Gods, We got into a few Cudas and a bunch of jacks that put up a hell of a battle. But we were looking for That one hungry Tarpon that we could get to chase are fly I told nick we have a great out going tide @ 11:30 if we hit it just right we can get into some Tarpon. We did just that, great job Nick on your first Tarpon.
